Everyone involved seems to be keen for an Arrested Development movie to happen.

Stars Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Michael Cera are all up for it. According to Bateman, Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz it halfway through penning the script, and there have been rumours that the show’s exec producer (and narrator) Ron Howard could be the one to direct.

Fingers crossed then that this makes it into production, presuming that they can get the budget together and sort out a schedule that suits the in-demand leads. We’d hate to see it befall the same fate as the cancelled-too-soon TV show.
