The music and general aesthetic of electronic outfit Daft Punk is a perfect fit for the new TRON movie.

From the moment the duo were announced to be scoring the movie, the fanboys have been fervently waiting to listen to it. As well as the score heard in the trailer, a special website has gone up where you can listen to a brief preview.

Combining a sense of foreboding with futuristic wonder, the album is set to be a winter highlight, sounding like a decent sci-fi soundtrack, while still feeling uniquely like a part of the Daft Punk canon. The question now remains as to what’ll be the more exciting: TRON: Legacy’s sounds or visuals?
